Lab, Lab Created, Laboratory Created Diamonds

One would think, ifokay takes the time to make a category, the item wouldactually be availableto the public. Not so with Lab Diamonds. Yes, Natural Diamondshave been createdin a Lab, which areidentical to the natural (10 on Moh's scale and carbon based). Problem is, they are seldom over a carat size in the rough, (which cuts about a quarter carat finished stone and they all have a yellow tinge to them. Lab Diamonds cost the same as a natural diamond. I know, you see them so cheap on okay. So what exactly is being sold on okay as Lab Diamonds? Good Question. Probably, Cubic Zirconia, or YAG.You can tell by the size and color of the stones, they are not lab diamonds. Better yet, why do they allow these auctions without proof of actually having such an ungemon, item for sale to protect the buyer. ie a GIA cert or EGLcert.Hopefully, this will help clarify Lab Diamonds and what is being done to unsuspecting buyers.
