2. Thats the resoning for geposite, but nobody tells you how to use the bat to get 100% out of your bat!!
3. when you get a new geposite bat like from APEX SOFTBALL ON okay AN OFFICAL geBAT DEALER!!. It will take 60-80 hits to get your bat to start the "trampoline effect" the carbon fibers will begine to seperate and have more give and increace the effect the more you hit it!! Also in b.p use harder balls 525 47 cor to break it in quicker as well..
4. you will need to rotate your bat a quarter turn after every swing to get your bat to breakin correctly or you will have hot spots and cold spots in your bat wich could lead to your bat not being consistant and could decreace your bats life and durabillity.You can gently tap your bat against a pole and rotate it up and down the barrell to break it in evenly.
5. NEVER USE A gePOSITE BELOW 55 DEGREES!! the carbon fibers are cold and stiff and will be more brittle and break quicker than a regular summer day..
6. Bat rolling, can losen up your bat evenly and gepletly so you will have a bigger sweet spot and no cold spots on your bat!! if done correctly it can add to life of your bat and your bat will perform at a 100% level out of the wrapper. some leagues and softball assocciations banaltered bats, but if rolled correctly bats will geply with 1.15 bp in little league or a 1.20 bp in softball..
7. Match your bat too the ball your hitting.. If you are using a new 375 .44 core ball or 525 .44 ball a high tech geposite bat will drop bombs on the gepetition. but if itsthe end of a tournamentthe balls your using are like socksor its hott 90+ using a harder bat /stiffer bat ie. alluminum demerini 375 bat or aASA sanctioned bat will work better with a soft ball ..
8. NOTHING BEATS PRACTICE.. HIT TWICE A WEEK 100 SWINGS EACH AND AFTER A COUPLE WEEKS YOU AND YOUR BAT WILL BE DROPPIN BOMBS!!
